Their review says that ‘Every aspect of the stagecraft is outstanding’. Yoav's work was nominated for 'Best Design' at the UK Theatre Awards 2025.

Yoav also set designed CABLE STREET, directed by Adam Lenson, which sold out two runs (at Southwark Playhouse Borough and Elephant) and was selected in The Stage’s top shows of 2024 and described by them as a show with ‘Genuine theatrical swagger’. It transfers to the Marylebone Theatre in early 2025 where it will play for the first time in proscenium end-on setting.

Yoav was co-creator and designer of George the Poet's one-man play GEORGE AT THE NATIONAL (The Shed, National Theatre). He also recently created two stop-motion promos for the BBC's THE SLEEPING FORECAST one of which featured the indie-pop legend Jarvis Cocker.

Yoav's interest in the arts also includes social action and campaigning and his film IRONS IN THE FIRE (Sky Arts / Sky 3D), narrated by Idris Elba, called for more creative opportunity for at-risk youth. Yoav was Founding Creative Director of RightsInfo (now EachOther), a social media project bringing human rights understanding to the public through imaginative and creative ideas. He has also worked extensively with the charity Hope not Hate making films to fight far-right politics. He has twice been an Arts Emergency mentor.

Yoav finds it odd writing about himself in the third person.
